my hopes in studying writing2

My Hopes

Now, I am studying writing2 in this semester. I can study this subject because I passed writing1. Even though I have passed writing1, it does not mean I am good enough in writing. I have many problems in writing. Because of that, I have some hopes that I want to reach in this subject. They are about the knowledge, the lecturers, my problem in writing, and my mark.

First, by studying writing2, I hope I get new and more knowledge in writing. I have already studied writing1 last semester, but it was not enough to improve my writing skill. So, I need new and more knowledge about writing itself. As I know, in this semester, I will study some new texts, such as Hortatory and Analytical Exposition Texts and Discussion Text. Actually, I have already learned about those types of texts, but I just knew the basic knowledge about them. By studying writing2, I really hope I can understand those texts more and get new knowledge.

Second, I hope my lecturers can give more explanations and more examples about the texts that we are going to study. Also, I hope they can do some ice breaker in the class because sometimes studying writing with the serious situation is boring. In addition, if we study with temperamental lecturers, it is hard for us to catch the material that has given by them.

Then it is about my problem. I hope I can find inspiration whenever I would like to write. It is the one of my big hopes that I want to reach. My lecturer ever said, “You will get more if you read more”. So, I need to read more in order to get more knowledge and inspiration in writing. I promise myself to find the sources that related to English writing, as many as I can, beside my lecturers’ explanation.

 The last one is my greatest hope. I hope I can catch the knowledge of writing2 and pass this subject with a good mark.

 Those all are my hopes in studying writing2 this semester. I wish them will come true. Amiin. However, I know all of my hopes can be reached based on my effort to get them.
